Turkish President Erdoğan Meets with UAE President Al Nahyan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey recently had a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders discussed various important topics during their meeting, including bilateral relations between Turkey and the UAE, the current situation in Syria and Palestine, and regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of establishing peace in Syria, where different ethnic and religious groups can coexist harmoniously. He also expressed his concerns about the PKK/YPG terrorist organization operating in Syria, stating that Turkey cannot accept them as the representative of the Kurds in the region. Additionally, President Erdoğan stressed the need to prevent DAESH from taking advantage of the chaos in the region, as well as Israel from undermining the peace process in Syria.
Furthermore, President Erdoğan reassured that Turkey will continue to make efforts to end the ongoing conflict and violence in Palestine as soon as possible.
