Turkish Red Crescent Offers International First Aid Training Registration

Turkish Red Crescent Receives Global First Aid Accreditation
The Turkish Red Crescent has announced that its 16-hour certified first aid training program has been accredited to meet international standards. This accreditation makes the Turkish Red Crescent the first Red Crescent and the seventh national association worldwide to receive the prestigious “Global First Aid Accreditation” among 191 Red Cross and Red Crescent associations.
The accreditation process, which begins with the application of national associations, involves a detailed evaluation by officials from the IFRC Global First Aid Reference Center. This assessment includes a field visit to evaluate all aspects of the first aid training provided.
The accreditation, valid for 5 years, signifies that the Turkish Red Crescent’s first aid training program meets the criteria of being based on scientific studies and international standards. The program aims to reach all segments of society with life-saving first aid information.
With 30 First Aid Training Centers across 23 provinces in Turkey, the Turkish Red Crescent has already provided certified first aid training to 336,550 individuals. Additionally, face-to-face information training has been given to 702,948 people. The 16-hour certified training covers 13 topics with both theoretical content and practical applications, focusing on equipping individuals with first aid skills for various emergencies and disasters.
Individuals interested in receiving certified first aid training can apply to the Red Crescent First Aid Training Centers. The Turkish Red Crescent continues its efforts to make life-saving first aid information accessible to everyone in Turkey.
