Turkish Singer Banu Parlak Detained at Airport
Banu Parlak, a popular singer and social media star, has been stopped at an application point on her way to Istanbul Airport. The Küçükçekmece 2nd Criminal Judgeship of Peace has issued a search warrant for Parlak regarding the crime of cooperative fraud. Consequently, she was detained and taken to the Gaziosmanpaşa Courthouse for further processing.
Interestingly, Parlak took to her social media account today to share images ridiculing the custody images of Dilan Polat, with whom she had a polemic.
In another incident, Banu Parlak’s beauty center in Bahçeşehir 1st Part Nature Park was shot by bullets on October 1. It is reported that the suspects entered the center between 02.00 and 04.30 and opened fire before fleeing the scene. The beauty center suffered material damage due to the five bullets fired. The Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
As part of the investigation, five suspects were detained on October 5. After the necessary procedures at the police station, they were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on Duty. The judicial authorities requested their arrest on charges of being a member of a criminal organization, threatening with a weapon within the scope of organizational activity, and damage to property. The suspects have been sent to prison, and the investigation is ongoing.
On her Instagram page, Banu Parlak recently expressed concern for her safety and held Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat responsible. She alleged that they hired someone to harm her. Parlak stated that there is evidence and witnesses supporting her claims.
