Turkmen Delegation Makes Working Visit to Qatar
Turkmenistan Delegation Signs Agreement to Participate in Expo-2023 Doha
From July 17 to 21, 2023, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited Doha, State of Qatar for a working visit.
The primary purpose of the visit was to discuss and address organizational matters related to Turkmenistan’s participation in the upcoming International Exhibition “Expo-2023 Doha.” The exhibition, scheduled to take place in Doha from October 2, 2023, to March 28, 2024, will revolve around the theme of “Green Desert, Better Environment.”
Following successful negotiations, a signing ceremony was held for the Agreement on Turkmenistan’s participation in this esteemed international event, confirming their presence at Expo-2023 Doha.
Furthermore, as part of the visit to the State of Qatar, the Turkmen delegation also organized a meeting with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar. The aim of the meeting was to enhance bilateral trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Qatar.
The participation of Turkmenistan in Expo-2023 Doha holds great significance, providing an opportunity to showcase the country’s expertise in various sectors, particularly highlighting its efforts towards creating a greener environment.
This collaboration between Turkmenistan and Qatar opens new avenues for economic cooperation and strengthens the bilateral ties between the two nations.
