Turkmen Leader Meets with Pakistani Minister of Industries
Turkmenistan’s National Leader and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, recently met with the Federal Minister of Industries and Production of Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain. The meeting, which took place on June 25, 2024, highlighted the strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.
During the meeting, Rana Tanveer Hussain conveyed warm greetings from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to the National Leader of the Turkmen People. He praised Turkmenistan’s impressive progress in various fields, including the development of the smart city of Arkadag initiated by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In response, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude for the kind words and emphasized the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan. The leaders discussed various aspects of their partnership, particularly focusing on trade and economic collaboration.
One of the key projects discussed was the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, as well as other energy and communication initiatives in the region. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening traditional cooperation for the mutual benefit of their countries.
