Turkmengaz State Concern to Construct New Compressor Station for East-West Gas Pipeline
Turkmengaz State Concern has announced plans to build a new compressor station for the East-West gas pipeline. The announcement was made in today’s edition of the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The international tender for the project will involve the construction, equipment supply, and commissioning of the new station. Interested parties can submit a written application to participate in the competition at the Turkmengaz State Concern building located at 56 Archabil Avenue, Ashgabat.
The East-West gas pipeline is a vital main artery for Turkmenistan’s gas transportation system. It plays a crucial role in connecting the rich gas deposits in the Mary region with the hydrocarbon reserves in the Caspian. This integrated system allows Turkmenistan to freely distribute its gas resources among different suppliers.
The construction of the new compressor station, named “KS-1 Shatlyk,” is expected to further enhance Turkmenistan’s gas transportation capacity and facilitate the efficient distribution of blue fuel.
The project signifies Turkmenistan’s commitment to developing and expanding its gas infrastructure, consolidating its position as a major player in the global energy market.
