Turkmenistan Launches Women’s Transport and Communications Competition
The “Hünärim bar—hormatym bar” competition has kicked off among workers in the transport and communications sector of Turkmenistan in honor of International Women’s Day, as reported by the Turkmenavtoulaglary agency.
Organized by the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Women’s Union, and various agencies under the Agency of Transport and Communications, such as “Turkmenaragatnashyk”, “Turkmenhowayollary”, “Turkmenavtoulaglary”, “Turkmendenizderyayollary”, and “Turkmendemiryollary”, the competition aims to celebrate the talent and skills of female workers in the sector.
The first round of the competition took place within departments, with the best participants earning the opportunity to advance to the next stage.
The final stage of the competition will involve various tasks, including delivering a welcoming speech in work attire, presenting their specialties, showcasing expertise in traditional needlework, and displaying clothing adorned with Turkmen national jewelry.
