“Twelve-Voter Villages Cast Ballots in Election”

In the midst of the Presidential Election in Turkey, small villages with a low population are also taking part in the voting process. In a 7-digit village located 20 kilometers away from the city centre, a ballot box was set up for 12 voters to cast their votes. The voting officially began at 08:00 with ballot box number 1030 being placed in the school. The village headman, Mehmet Atmaca, expressed his good wishes for the country and nation at the start of the elections.

Atmaca also stated that most of the citizens in the village cast their votes, with 17 people voting together with friends at the polling station. Although the number of voters has decreased in recent years, Atmaca mentioned that the voting process was quiet in the village.

On the other hand, in Gazipınar Village located in Tokat’s Artova district, citizens voted in the second round of the Presidential Election. The village has only six households and 19 voters. The village headman, Zafer Atak, expressed his good wishes for the election to be beneficial. Atak also stated that they have a small village with only six households and 21 population, but they faced no issues during the voting process.

In total, the voting process has been completed in 19 villages with voters. Despite the low population and small territories, the participation of these villages is crucial in making the election process more complete and representative of the Turkish population.
