Twin Brothers in Samsun Busted with 170,755 Drugs: Operation Unveiled
Samsun’s gendarmerie teams recently conducted a successful drug operation, resulting in the arrest of twin brothers in possession of a large quantity of drugs. According to reports, the 23-year-old HK and VK twin brothers were apprehended by the Samsun Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams after they were suspected of bringing in a significant amount of drug pills from outside the province.
The operation was carried out under the coordination of the Samsun Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and involved various units such as the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch Directorate, Intelligence Branch Directorate, Gendarmerie Crime Research Team (JASAT), and Ilkadim District Gendarmerie Command teams. A search of the twin brothers’ residence in the Ilkadim district led to the discovery of 170,755 synthetic pharmaceutical pills hidden in plastic boxes.
Following their arrest, the twin brothers were taken to the Samsun Courthouse where they faced charges of drug trafficking. After testifying in court, the twins were officially arrested and remanded to prison. This successful operation highlights the dedication and effectiveness of Samsun’s gendarmerie teams in combating drug-related crimes in the region.
