Tradesman Bayram Demir Surprised by Similarity of Names in Election
Bayram Demir, a 49-year-old tradesman, recently expressed his surprise at the similarity of names and surnames in an upcoming election. Demir shared that he and another individual with a similar name are frequently asked how to address the confusion caused by the resemblance.
To tackle the issue, Demir revealed that they have taken measures such as displaying their election slogans on their vehicles and including their parents’ names on the ballot paper. These methods have helped to alleviate some of the confusion surrounding their identities.
While the situation has brought about surprise to those around him, Demir remains confident in the voters’ ability to differentiate between the candidates. “The residents of Ulus District know who to vote for. This is not the first time they have elected a headman. Since this is not the first time, I think we need to work devotedly,” he said.
