Two Arrested in Anti-Drug Operation in Boyabat
In a recent operation against drug dealers in the Boyabat district, two vehicles were stopped and searched by the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch. Four suspects inside the vehicles were detained and searched, leading to the discovery of various illegal items.
During the searches, authorities found 8.72 grams of synthetic drugs, 84 drug pills, an unlicensed gun, 2 knives, a brass knuckle, and a sum of money suspected to be obtained from criminal activities. Two of the suspects were arrested by the court after their procedures at the police station.
One of the detainees was released under judicial control, while the other was released after processing at the prosecutor’s office. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to crack down on drug-related crimes in the area.
