Two People Injured in Car Accident in Istanbul
A car driven by Rasim Akpınar reportedly lost steering control and crashed into an IETT stop in Eski Edirne Asfalti Caddesi, Memba Işıkları locality, Istanbul around 5 pm on Wednesday. The car, with license plate 34 CDP 07, hit two people who were waiting at the stop before coming to a stop by hitting a transformer. Several police, health, and fire crews arrived at the scene upon notification from the nearby residents. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and first aid was provided at the scene. The police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
