Two Planes Collide on Runway in US

A Delta passenger plane collided with a plane belonging to Endeavor Airlines, a subsidiary of the same company, on the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, according to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The incident occurred when the wing tip of the Delta Air Lines Airbus A350 aircraft, bound for Tokyo, Japan, hit the tail of the Endeavor Air aircraft as it was preparing to take off. In a video shared of the accident, the tail section of the Bombardier aircraft was seen falling to the ground following the collision.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the 221 passengers on the Delta plane and the 56 passengers on the Endeavor plane who were ready to fly to Louisiana. The FAA has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the collision.
Air travel remains one of the safest modes of transportation, and incidents like this are rare. Safety measures and protocols are in place to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew members. The FAA will work diligently to prevent similar accidents in the future.
