UBP MYK: Continuing to Serve Without Stopping – BRTK
The UBP Party Assembly recently held elections for the Central Executive Board (MYK), with 13 MYK members being announced following a vote by 106 members.
The winners of the election are as follows:
-Nicosia: Mehmet Aktunç, Basri Kuyucuoğlu, İsmail Kofalı
-Famagusta: Neriman Kaşif, Burak Baskas, Yenal Garabli
-Kyrenia: Murat Karalar, Sami Otçuoğlu
-Dock (İskele): Salahi Serakıncı
-Guzelyurt: Ali Kandulu
-Lefke: Ömür Ekendal
-Women’s Quota: Ozge Atli
-Youth Quota: Mahmut Hudaverdi
UBP Chairman and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that the party continues to appoint staff who align with party policies and serve the state. He emphasized the importance of organizational structure and dynamism in serving both the party and the state, and highlighted the upcoming Presidential and local elections. Üstel expressed confidence in completing authorized boards through peaceful competition and continuing on the path forward.
UBP Secretary General Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu also emphasized the democratic process within the party, stating that elections are competitive and democracy-based at all levels of UBP.
