UEFA Investigates Roma Coach Jose Mourinho for Abusive Language towards Referee
UEFA has started an investigation into Roma coach José Mourinho for using abusive language against English referee Anthony Taylor after Wednesday’s Europa League final in Budapest. The 60-year-old coach was caught on camera shouting “f*cking disgrace” to Taylor in a car park. Both teams, Sevilla and Roma, are also facing accusations of bad behaviour from their fans and players during the game. The allegations include throwing objects, setting off fireworks, and misbehaviour towards their teams. UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) will decide on the matter in due course.
