Under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar’s wife, Sibel Tatar, 2 dialysis machines were donated to Famagusta State Hospital.

Sibel Tatar went to the hospital this morning with the Minister of Health, Izlem Gürçağ Altuğra, visited the patients who received service from the donated machines and conveyed their well-being.

Tatar and Altuğra also gave their certificates to the nurses who took courses on dialysis machines.

Famagusta Deputy Chief Physician Eyüp Göksu, who took the first word during the visit, stated that two dialysis machines were given as gifts under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar and his wife Sibel Tatar and thanked him.

Noting that Famagusta State Hospital is one of the three hospitals in the country, which is a dialysis department, Göksu said that the number of dialysis machines increased to 14 with the two machines gifted to the hospital.

Noting that this will increase the quality of service, Göksu stated that they serve 53 patients between 07.00 in the morning and 21.00 in the night, 7 days a week.

Minister of Health Monitoring Gürçağ Altuğra emphasized that the hemodialysis service is an important service and is of vital importance.

Noting that 290 patients were served with 65 dialysis machines in 4 hospitals in total, Altuğra stated that they work as a team in a spirit of solidarity to provide more comfortable healthcare services to patients.

Izlem Gürçağ Altuğra thanked Sibel Tatar by noting that two dialysis machines were donated to Famagusta State Hospital under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar’s wife Sibel Tatar.

Sibel Tatar, the wife of President Ersin Tatar, stated that kidney patients have increased in the world and in the country recently and that more dialysis machines are needed in hospitals. Tatar noted that they donated two dialysis machines to Famagusta State Hospital to meet this need.

Tatar said that they were pleased to see these devices used in the patients they visited today.

Tatar said that the government and the Minister of Health are doing their best to eliminate all the deficiencies, but one should not expect everything from the state. Tatar noted that he believes that many philanthropists will contribute to many issues in the future.

Stating that he learned that there was a great need for an angio machine in the hospital, Tatar said, “I hope that we will make our patients and the hospital more comfortable with the person who will contribute to it.”

Sibel Tatar also thanked the company representative, Sait Avcı, who helped with the delivery and installation of the machines and the training of the personnel. Tatar wished the machines to be beneficial to hospitals and patients.
