University Student Rojin Mysteriously Vanishes in Van Township
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, has announced the tragic discovery of the lifeless body of university student Rojin Kabaiş, who had been missing for 18 days. Rojin, who had left the KYK dormitory in Van on September 27, 2024, was found by search teams on the shore of Molla Kasım Village on Lake Van.
In a statement on his social media account, Yerlikaya expressed his deep sorrow, saying, “Unfortunately, the lifeless body of our university student Rojin Kabaiş has been found. May God have mercy on our daughter Rojin; I offer my condolences to her family, relatives, and our beloved Nation.”
