Hungarian Defense Minister Showcases Lynx KF41 Infantry Fighting Vehicle

Hungarian Minister of Defense, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, recently shared a video on social media showcasing the Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicle during a mission. The Minister emphasized the importance of these combat vehicles in maintaining the country’s deterrent forces, stating that they are crucial in ensuring that the Hungarian army remains one step ahead.

In his post, Szalay-Bobrovniczky highlighted the advanced capabilities of the Lynx KF41, noting that it is equipped with modern technologies for enhanced situational awareness. The vehicle features automatic target detection and tracking, a 360-degree situational awareness system, as well as a laser warning system and an acoustic shot detection system.

The Lynx KF41, which can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h on paved roads and 70 km/h off-road, provides superior protection against ammunition with its armored front, sides, and rear. Plans are underway to equip the vehicle with the StrikeShield system for added active and passive protection.

Furthermore, Szalay-Bobrovniczky mentioned that Hungary is not only a customer but also a manufacturer of the Lynx KF41, with growing interest from other countries in acquiring these advanced combat vehicles.
