
Update on the Status of the Narin Güran Case: Has the Murderer Been Found?

The hearing held yesterday lasted from 09.30 in the morning until late in the night, with the prosecutor delivering his opinion at 23.00. According to the prosecutor, family members were involved in an organized attempt to hide and cover up the Narin Güran incident, with the defendants being classified as accomplices in participation.
The prosecutor pointed out that after analyzing the obtained data and evidence in the case file, it was determined that the defendants were present at Arif Güran’s house on the day of the incident. As a result, the prosecutor requested aggravated life imprisonment for Salim Güran, Yüksel Güran, Enes Güran, and Nevzat Bahtiyar for their involvement in the murder of the child.
Furthermore, the prosecutor also stated that the defendants should not be eligible for a reduced sentence based on good behavior, in accordance with the relevant articles of the Turkish Penal Code. The case continues to unfold as further investigations are carried out.
