Urgent Weather Update: Snow, Showers, and Storms Warning Issued by Meteorologists
The Meteorology General Directorate has issued forecasts for weather conditions in Turkey. Throughout the country, a mix of partly and very cloudy skies is expected, with rainy weather in the eastern part of the country. In specific areas including Kırklareli, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Antalya, Karaman, Samsun, Adıyaman, Siirt, Şırnak, Hakkari, and Çanakkale, it is expected that rain, sleet, and snow will occur in higher elevations.
The forecast predicts heavy precipitation in the eastern region, including rain, sleet, and snow in higher elevations. Strong, short-term winds are expected in areas of Marmara, Coastal Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean. Additionally, there is a risk of icing, frost, and occasional mist and fog in central and eastern regions, with avalanche hazards in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
The temperatures are expected to be below seasonal norms in the northern and inner parts of the country, and around seasonal norms in other areas. Winds are predicted to blow from the north and northeast, reaching moderate strength in some areas, and up to 40-70 km/h in areas of Marmara, Coastal Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean.

– Antalya: Mostly cloudy with intermittent rain, showers, sleet, and snow at high altitudes and a high of 16°C
– Samsun: Very cloudy with intermittent rain and a high of 7°C
– Trabzon: Mostly cloudy with a high of 9°C
– Erzurum: Partly and very cloudy with a high of 4°C
– Diyarbakır: Mostly cloudy with a high of 7°C
