US Ammunition Found in Rubble of Destroyed Gaza Homes

The remains of US-made ammunition have been found in the rubble of destroyed houses in Gaza, indicating the use of American military support by the Israeli army during their attacks in Khan Younis. Images show rocket and ammunition remnants with the abbreviation “DOD” from the US Department of Defense.
Palestinians living in areas targeted by Israeli ground attacks have expressed concern over the use of US-made ammunition to cause widespread destruction. This discovery comes as the Israeli Ministry of Defense recently signed an agreement for the purchase of 25 F-35 fighter jets from the USA, part of a larger foreign aid package including $26 billion in military support to Israel.
The continuous attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip have resulted in devastation and loss of life. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in the last 244 days alone, there have been 6 “massacres” with 68 Palestinians killed and 235 injured. The total number of deaths since October 7 has reached 36,654, with 83,309 injured.
The destruction of civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and educational institutions, has created an environment unfit for life in Gaza. The attacks have also led to the destruction of sewage pumps and kilometers of sewage lines, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Despite a brief “humanitarian pause” in the conflict, where mutual prisoner releases took place, Israel has continued to detain and imprison thousands of Palestinians. The violence has extended beyond Gaza, with 525 Palestinians losing their lives in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since October 7.
The US administration’s unconditional support for Israel has been criticized by Palestinians, who hold them responsible for the ongoing attacks and destruction in the region. As the situation continues to escalate, the international community is urged to take action to protect the lives and rights of the Palestinian people.
