US Embassy in Kazakhstan Improves Visa Services for Greater Efficiency
The U.S. Embassy in Astana and the U.S. Consulate General in Almaty have announced a new visa services provider as of June 10. Visa applicants are advised to use the designated website to obtain information, pay fees, schedule appointments, and utilize document courier services.
Citizens who have already paid a nonimmigrant visa application fee via the website must create a user account in the new system and link it to their existing application record. This will allow them to manage appointments, make changes, submit requests, and choose document return options.
Applicants eligible for interview waivers can now submit their documents to the Consular Section in Astana or Almaty through courier service and collect their documents from designated pick-up locations after adjudication.
Despite the updates in the process, the visa application fee remains unchanged. These improvements are part of the U.S. Department of State’s efforts to enhance services for Kazakh visa applicants.
