USA Springs Forward with Daylight Saving Time

In the USA, Daylight Saving Time Bill Proposed to Make Time Change Permanent
The clocks in the USA were adjusted forward by 1 hour at 02:00 on the night from Saturday to Sunday, marking the start of daylight saving time. This practice, which has been a topic of debate in recent years, may soon become a thing of the past.
Republican Senator Marco Rubio and a group of senators have reintroduced a bill to make daylight saving time permanent in the country. Rubio, who sees the current practice of changing time twice a year as “absurd and wrong,” emphasized the need for a permanent switch to daylight saving time.
The US Senate unanimously passed the bill on March 15, 2022, but it has yet to be discussed and voted on in the House of Representatives. If passed, daylight saving time in the USA will end on November 3, 2024, with the clocks being set back by 1 hour.
The debate on daylight saving time continues to spark discussions among lawmakers and the public, with some advocating for a permanent change while others prefer to keep the current system. As the country navigates this issue, only time will tell if daylight saving time will become a thing of the past in the USA.
