Kazakh Government Allocates Funds for Medical Facility Construction in Aktobe Region
ASTANA – The Kazakh government has announced the allocation of funds from the Special State Fund for the construction of vital medical facilities in the Aktobe Region, amounting to approximately 1.4 billion tenge (around $2.7 million). This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services in several rural districts, benefiting the local population.
According to a report from the Prime Minister’s press service on April 25, these funds will be utilized to construct 11 new facilities, including feldsher-obstetric stations, medical centers, and outpatient clinics. Each of these institutions is designed to cater to 25 to 45 patients daily, ensuring that high-quality medical services are readily available.
This funding is part of a broader effort by the government to construct socially significant facilities nationwide. Previous allocations from the Special State Fund have included the construction of seven schools, one music school, two sports complexes, a stadium, a multifunctional hospital complex, a regional ambulance station, and a hematology center in Oskemen. Additionally, funds have been designated for a Center for the Provision of Special Social Services, as well as several kindergartens and a hostel. Investments have also been made to modernize water supply systems in the Aralsk district of the Kyzylorda Region.
With these initiatives, the Kazakh government aims to improve public health and elevate the standard of living for its citizens. The construction of these medical facilities is expected to play a crucial role in addressing healthcare shortages, especially in underserved rural areas.
