Valencia Product Field Work Begins Tomorrow
Teams composed of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and the Citrus Producers Associations are set to begin fieldwork on the Valencia citrus product starting tomorrow.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, difficulties in exports during the 2023-2024 citrus season and challenging conditions in foreign markets have led to a delay in the Valencia harvest.
The statement highlighted that in order to address this issue, three teams comprising representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and the Citrus Producers Associations will commence fieldwork in high-risk areas on Friday, May 31. Their goal is to identify the Valencia product, which is expected to still be attached to the branches in the orchards.
This initiative aims to ensure a successful harvest and address any potential issues that may arise in the Valencia citrus production. Stay tuned for updates on the progress of the fieldwork and the upcoming citrus season.
