Value Every Life: Stop Traffic Accidents Together with BRTK

The General Directorate of Police (PGM) has issued a statement addressing the recent increase in traffic accidents that have resulted in fatalities, urging the public to prioritize road safety.

According to the announcement, 7 individuals, including 4 drivers and 3 passengers, lost their lives in a total of 6 traffic accidents that occurred within the first 17 days of the year. The statement highlighted that 5 of these accidents were caused by speeding, one was due to negligence, and one involved a driver under the influence of alcohol.

“As we embark on the new year with hopes for a better future, it is disheartening to see such a high number of traffic accidents resulting in loss of life,” the statement read. “It is evident that many of these accidents could have been prevented if drivers had adhered to traffic regulations and exercised caution on the road.”

The PGM urged all drivers to prioritize safety, follow traffic rules, and drive responsibly. “We call upon all motorists to ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations, and we wish everyone safe and accident-free journeys,” the statement concluded.
