Vatan Street Closed for Victory Day Rehearsals in Istanbul
In preparation for the celebrations of August 30 Victory Day in Istanbul, Vatan Street has been temporarily closed to vehicle traffic starting at 6:00 in the morning for rehearsals.
The Istanbul Governorship announced the road closures for today, which include Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Cd.) departures and arrivals, entrances from various directions such as D-100 North and South, 10. Yıl Street, Edirnekapı, Oğuzhan Street, Sofular Street, Halıcılar Street, Akdeniz Street, Akşemsettin Street, Ordu Street, and Atatürk Street. Additionally, entrances from Aksaray, Keçeci Meydan Street, the south of Hal Road, along with all avenues and streets leading to Vatan Avenue will be closed.
For those affected by the closures, alternative routes have been provided, including Turgut Özal Millet Avenue, Fevzipaşa Avenue, Atatürk Boulevard, D-100 Highway, and O-3 Hal Road.
As preparations continue for the upcoming Victory Day celebrations, residents and visitors are encouraged to use the alternative routes and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
