Vengeful Killing: Murder of 3 Cousins Unveiled After 10 Years
Konak Police Department Patrol Teams Chief teams in Cyprus Martyrs Street on March 10th detained a person under suspicion due to uneasy attitudes and contradictory statements during an identity check. Upon further examination, it was revealed that the suspect, Haydar Ülger, was carrying a false identity and was wanted by the Interpol-Europol Department on charges of “intentional killing” under the name Kemal Armağan.
The suspect, Kemal Armağan, was taken into custody and brought to the Directorate of Identity and Crime Scene Investigation Branch. Through fingerprint analysis, it was discovered that the suspect had two registered identities, under the names Nasser Demir and Kemal Armağan. Kemal Armağan was wanted for the crime of “designed to kill” by the Elbistan Magistrate Criminal Court, while Nasir Demir was sought for “deliberate killing” by the same court.
Armağan, a member of the gang named ‘Bombacılar’ in England, was responsible for the deaths of Behzat Eren in 2015, Hüseyin Eren in 2020, and Izzet Eren in 2024. These three cousins were killed in Kahramanmaraş and London, allegedly in revenge for the death of Armağan’s brother in 2012.
Following the police operations, Kemal Armağan was handed over to the judicial authorities for further proceedings.
