Verdict Reached for Pervert Criminal Who Sexually Abused 4 Children
A water seller in Istanbul has been sentenced to 293 years and 6 months in prison for sexually abusing 4 children in Bağcılar between 2019 and 2023. Metin Şenay, the defendant, was also fined 1 million 687 liras by the court. The case came to light when an 11-year-old girl did not return home from school and was found to have gotten into a white minibus belonging to Şenay. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Şenay had a soundproof room at his workplace where he abused the children. The court announced the verdict after connecting Şenay via SEGBİS to the hearing, sentencing him for crimes including depriving a child of freedom for sexual purposes and using children in the production of obscene publications.
