Victory Party Announces Last Minute Candidate for IMM Election
The Victory Party has officially introduced their candidates for the Istanbul Metropolitan and district mayoral positions. The candidate promotion meeting took place at a hotel in Istanbul and was attended by the Chairman of the Victory Party, Prof. Dr. Ümit Özdağ, Zafer Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Erdoğan Erhan, party representatives, district mayor candidates and many participants.
During the meeting, Victory Party Chairman Prof. Dr. Ümit Özdağ announced that Azmi Karamahmutoğlu had been determined as the IMM Presidential candidate.
In his statement, the Victory Party’s IMM Presidential Candidate Azmi Karamahmutoğlu promised to improve the lives of the people of Istanbul. He emphasized the importance of managing the city’s population in a healthy way and imposing restrictions on the residence procedure for illegal immigrants and refugees. He also pledged to create a strong and powerful municipality that can effectively manage the city and provide safety for the citizens.
The names of the district mayoral candidates were also announced during the meeting. The candidates included Hüseyin Avni Borluk for Islands, Tuğrul Kihtir for Kadıköy, Sibel Zeren for Maltepe, Akın Gürkan for Tuzla, Jülide Sarıkaya Kurduoğlu for Ümraniye, Tarkan Güler for Bayrampaşa, Selim Aydın Gümüşdal for Beyoğlu, Aydemir Alıçlar for Zeytinburnu, Umut Basmacı for Avcılar, Ulaş Öztüerk for Bahçelievler, Türker Tolga Topaloğlu for Bakırköy, Kürşat Dağ for Pendik, Özcan Aksu for Beylikdüzü, Yaşar Öztürk for Büyükçekmece, Emre Met for Küçükçekmece, and Murat Demirkol for Silivri.
The Victory Party’s introduction of their candidates marks the beginning of the political campaign for the upcoming mayoral elections in Istanbul.
