Victory Party Chairman Özdağ Optimistic as Party Approaches 10 percent Mark
Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ is pressing forward with preparations for the upcoming local elections, as he continues his visits to various provinces in the Black Sea region. During a recent visit to the Altınordu district of Ordu, Özdağ expressed confidence in his party’s growing popularity.
Özdağ stated that recent polls have shown the Victory Party’s vote rate surpassing the 7 percent mark and steadily approaching 10 percent. “Our goal in these elections is to exceed 10 percent throughout Turkey,” he emphasized.
Highlighting the surge in the party’s popularity in the Black Sea and Central Anatolia regions, Özdağ remarked, “Our party’s policies are resonating with the public and we are witnessing a positive trend in these areas.”
One issue that Özdağ addressed during his visit was the naming of a boulevard in Diyarbakır after Şeyh Said, which he criticized. He mentioned that he intends to take legal action to prevent the naming from going through.
In addition to meeting with citizens at a shopping center and engaging with tradesmen on Sırripaşa Street, Özdağ held a conference at the Atatürk Cultural Center, in which he outlined the party’s future plans and initiatives.
As the Victory Party continues to gain momentum in various regions, Özdağ’s visits and interactions play a key role in solidifying the party’s position as local elections draw closer.
