Kazakhstan Welcomes Vietnamese Leadership for Key State Visit
ASTANA – In a significant diplomatic engagement, General Secretary Tô Lâm of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee is set to visit Kazakhstan from May 5 to 7, 2023. This visit has been arranged at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highlighting the growing ties between the two nations.
During this high-level meeting, leaders from both countries will engage in discussions focusing on enhancing trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation. These talks aim to explore new avenues for collaboration and to strengthen bilateral relations.
A notable highlight of the visit will occur on May 7, when General Secretary Lâm is scheduled to attend a military parade in Astana, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. This ceremonial event serves as a reminder of historical ties and mutual respect.
