Violent Street Clash Leaves People Injured in Ataşehir
Clashes in Ataşehir leave 4 injured, one in serious condition
A violent incident took place on 3042nd Street in the Mustafa Kemal District of Ataşehir around 22:00. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a previous argument over giving way, and escalated when the individuals involved met in front of a bakery to discuss the issue. During the altercation, a gun was drawn and used, resulting in injuries to 4 people: Mehmet Ali U., Orhan G., Sakin G., and an unnamed bakery employee. Additionally, damage was done to the bakery as a result of the clash.
Upon receiving reports of the incident, both police and medical teams quickly responded to the scene. The injured individuals received initial medical attention on-site before being transported to nearby hospitals via ambulance. Of the wounded, Sakin G. is said to be in a serious condition.
Authorities closed off the street for investigation purposes, recovering a gun and 4 empty cartridges from the scene. Efforts are now underway to locate and apprehend the suspects who fled following the altercation.
In a related incident in Avcılar, an armed attack at a workplace left 2 individuals injured. The authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety and security of the community amidst these troubling events.
