U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan Offers Spring 2024 Term of Online Professional English Network Program
The U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the spring 2024 term of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Program. Formerly known as the E-Teacher Program, the OPEN Program offers 8-week professional development courses developed by U.S. universities on various topics related to English language teaching.
The courses cover subjects such as English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) TESOL Methodology, Professional Development for Teacher Trainers, and Integrating Critical Thinking into the Classroom. These courses are designed to provide educators with the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of English language instruction.
Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their applications by February 2, 2024, to be considered for courses that begin in the spring of 2024. Upon successful completion of the courses, certificates and digital badges will be issued by the U.S. Department of State to recognize the participants’ achievement.
