Visiting His Brother-in-Law’s Home
A man in Çanakkale, Turkey was detained on suspicion of arson after his brother-in-law’s house caught on fire. Ramis Şahin, 65, experienced a devastating fire at his brother-in-law’s single-story house located in the Menderes neighborhood of Bayramiç district.
The fire broke out yesterday at around 9:30 pm, but fortunately, it was quickly brought under control by the fire brigade teams. Despite the efforts to control the fire, the house was left uninhabitable. Following an investigation into the cause of the fire, Ramis Şahin’s wife’s brother, identified as Ayhan K., was accused of starting the fire deliberately.
Ayhan K. was subsequently taken into custody by the District Police Department on suspicion of arson. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, as authorities work to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fire. The safety procedures for the suspect are currently in progress as the case moves forward.
