Volunteer Divers Clean Fethiye’s Sea: Grocery Cart Discovered

A group of volunteer divers in Fethiye, Muğla took part in a sea cleaning activity along Fethiye Kordon Boyu to commemorate July 1 Maritime and Cabotage Day. Led by diving instructor Muhittin Şahin, a total of 7 divers spent hours diving along Kordon and cleaning up the seabed.

Speaking about the initiative, Diving Instructor Muhittin Şahin stated, “As residents of Fethiye, we organized this sea bottom cleaning activity with the aim of raising awareness. Our goal is to ensure a clean environment and sea for our children and future generations.” The effort was part of their contribution to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

Their actions serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility we all have in protecting the environment for the well-being of present and future generations.
