Weather Forecast: Sudden Temperature Drop and Heavy Rainfall Expected Today
The General Directorate of Meteorology has released the latest weather forecasts for Turkey, predicting partly cloudy skies in some areas with possible showers and thunderstorms in others.
According to the forecast, areas including the east of Marmara, Inner Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, Kırklareli, İzmir, Rize, Erzurum, Bingöl, Hakkari, and Tekirdağ may experience partly cloudy weather. Meanwhile, the east of Turkey, inner and coastal parts of Artvin, and eastern districts of Trabzon are expected to see showers and thunderstorms.
In terms of rainfall, localized heavy rainfall is expected in the east of Marmara, inner parts of the Northern Aegean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, east of Isparta, and inner parts of the east of Antalya. Additionally, strong winds from the northwest are forecasted in areas including Eastern Marmara, Western Black Sea, northern and western parts of Central Anatolia, Western Mediterranean, and Southern Aegean coasts, with speeds reaching 50-70 km/h at times.
