Weekend Exams for Teachers: Proficiency, Preliminary, and Foreign Language
The Public Service Commission (KHK) Proficiency Exams, including the Foreign Language (English) Exam and the Preliminary Teacher Entrance Exam, are set to take place this weekend.
As per the announcement by the Statutory Decree, the Foreign Language (English) Exam is scheduled for Saturday at 09:30 at the Turkish Maarif College and Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School. Additionally, the Preliminary Teacher Entrance Exam will be held at various locations, including the Turkish Maarif College, Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School, Lefkoşa Turkish High School, and 20 Temmuz Science High School at 14:00.
On Sunday, the Intermediate Level Proficiency Exam will be conducted at 09:30 at the Turkish Maarif College, Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School, and Lefkoşa Turkish High School. Meanwhile, the Lower Level Proficiency Exam is scheduled for 13:30 at the Turkish Maarif College, Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School, Lefkoşa Turkish High School, and 20 Temmuz Science High School. Lastly, the Upper Level Proficiency Exam will be held at 16:00 at the Şht. Hüseyin Ruso Secondary School.
A total of 8,467 individuals will be participating in the exams, with varying numbers in each category. It was emphasized in the statement that participants must provide valid identification upon entry to the exam venue. Failure to do so could result in being denied admission to the exam.
The provisional exam results will be posted on the website “khk.gov.ct.tr” on the same day, and final results will be determined after evaluating any objections received within three working days. Successful candidates will then be able to obtain their certificates of achievement from the Statutory Decree Presidency.
According to the regulations, Proficiency Exams are held twice a year, with the Foreign Language (English) Exam conducted once a year. The Preliminary Exam for Teaching Entrance is being held for the first time this year, in compliance with the Teachers Examination Regulation.
