Water Outage Announcement in Istanbul: What You Need to Know
The Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) has announced a significant water outage affecting several districts due to necessary maintenance work. Residents are advised to prepare for the disruption, which will impact water service for up to 10 hours.
Key Details of the Water Cut
The scheduled water cut will take place from 6:00 AM on May 7, 2025, until 6:00 AM on May 8, 2025. The interruption is attributed to valve and flow rate assembly modifications being carried out on the transmission line near the Silahtar Promotion Center in the Gaziosmanpaşa district.

Restoration of Service
Water supply in the affected regions is expected to resume starting at 6:00 AM on May 8, 2025. Citizens are encouraged to store enough water for their needs during the outage.
