Minister Yumaklı Condemns Israel’s Attacks on Gaza and Urges Peaceful Eid Celebration
In a celebration program held at Kastamonu Governorship, Minister Yumaklı joined Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı, AK Party Kastamonu Deputies Halil Uluay and Fatma Serap Ekmekci, Kastamonu Mayor Hasan Baltacı, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and citizens to celebrate the holiday.
During his speech at the program, Minister Yumaklı strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Gaza. He expressed his desire for all Muslims to have a peaceful Eid celebration with their families, while also lamenting the ongoing violence in Gaza which has resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
“We hope that those who are oppressed and treated unfairly, regardless of their religion, language, or ethnic group, will be reunited with their families as soon as possible,” Minister Yumaklı stated. He emphasized the importance of celebrating the holiday in harmony and unity.
Minister Yumaklı also addressed the sacrifices made during Eid, urging citizens to follow religious guidelines and show sensitivity towards the animals being sacrificed. He reminded everyone to adhere to hygiene rules after the sacrifices are made.
Additionally, Minister Yumaklı highlighted the increasing air temperatures and advised citizens to be cautious about the risk of forest fires. He urged people to avoid activities that could potentially start a fire in recreational areas and forested areas designated for public use.
Following the program, Minister Yumaklı visited Güldal Akşit Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center where he spent time with elderly residents. He engaged in conversations with them and celebrated the holiday together.
Overall, Minister Yumaklı’s message emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and compassion during the Eid celebrations, while also addressing the need for caution and care in light of current events and environmental risks.
