Widespread Rain Expected Nationwide
The General Directorate has released a weather update stating that the country will experience partly cloudy to very cloudy conditions. Areas that can expect local showers and thunderstorms include Thrace, the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, the Toroslar region, Central Anatolia (excluding Eskişehir), the Central Black Sea, Kastamonu, Artvin, Ardahan, Kars, Hakkari, and Rize. Additionally, there is a possibility of local showers and thunderstorms in the inner parts of Trabzon.
Air temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in the western and central parts of the country but slightly above normal in the eastern regions. Strong winds from the south are forecasted for Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia, so caution is advised to prevent any potential issues.
