The Budapest fleet, which is expanding to 17 aircraft, is expected to transport nearly 7 million passengers to and from Budapest this year. Valeria Bragarenco, Wizz Air’s communications manager, highlighted the company’s dedication to the Hungarian market through this network expansion. Currently operating a fleet of 220 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, Wizz Air served 62 million passengers in the financial year ending March 31, 2024.
