
YKS and KGS-2 Exams Successfully Completed – BRTK

Today, the second stage of the College Entrance Exams, known as KGS-2, and the first session of the Higher Education Institutions Exam, the Basic Proficiency Test, were successfully held.
The second stage exam of the College Entrance Exams took place in 8 exam centers across the region. These centers included prestigious institutions such as Turkish Maarif College, Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School, Kyrenia 19 Mayıs TMK, Famagusta TMK, Güzelyurt TMK, İskele Evkaf Turkish Maarif College, Hala Sultan Theology College, and Lefke Gazi High School. The exam was completed in two sessions – the first session ending at 10:30 and the second session concluding at 12:30 with the participation of 249 teachers and experts.
Following the completion of these exams, students will be able to register for the 2024-2025 academic year based on their performance and the College Entrance Score. A total of 645 students will be admitted to colleges based on the ranking lists created from the scores obtained in both the January exams and today’s exams.
In addition to the College Entrance Exams, the first session of the Higher Education Institutions Examination, Basic Proficiency Test, was also conducted today by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center. Tomorrow, the second session of the exam, known as the Field Proficiency Test, will take place in the morning, followed by the last session, the Foreign Language Test, in the afternoon.
Overall, the exams were conducted smoothly and successfully, paving the way for students to pursue higher education and further their academic pursuits.
