YÖK President Erol Özvar Encourages Candidates for 2024-YKS Exam
The President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, has urged candidates preparing for the 2024-YKS exam to devote themselves to regular study in order to achieve success. The YKS applications officially opened today, and Özvar extended his best wishes to all the candidates preparing for the exam.
In a statement, Özvar emphasized the importance of staying updated with the ongoing changes and advancements in digital technologies. He noted that the Council of Higher Education is committed to developing and updating programs to ensure that they are training the qualified human resources that the country needs.
Addressing the young people preparing for the exam, Özvar said, “As the Council of Higher Education, we wish you, the future of our country, to be visionary, well-equipped, and versatile individuals. We are taking steps meticulously to equip higher education with a structure that will provide many achievements that you will use throughout your life. In this context, we are working on new programs in line with the needs of the age.”
He further mentioned that in addition to the existing programs, new programs will be offered this year, and that the Council of Higher Education is working closely with all universities to ensure the best education for the candidates.
