Young Girl Assaulted on Road – New Details Emerge

A horrifying attack on a young woman in Kahramanmaraş has shocked the community. 23-year-old Nisa Akdere was walking alone on the sidewalk in Pazarcık district when she was suddenly attacked by Yunus Emre Yerlice, a stranger to her. The entire incident was captured on a workplace security camera, showing the violent assault unfold second by second.
Describing the terrifying ordeal, Nisa Akdere recounted, “I live in Pazarcık district and was on my way to work, following my usual route and schedule. It was Thursday, January 16, just a short distance from my workplace, when I was ambushed by a man approaching me from the opposite direction. He struck my left eye, causing me to fall to the ground. I was in shock as blood streamed from my eye. I cried out for help, but the details of what happened next are blurred in my memory.”
After seeking medical attention and reporting the attack to the police, Akdere was confident that justice would be served. However, to her dismay, Yunus Emre Yerlice was released on probation shortly after being arrested. Akdere expressed her frustration, stating, “I am determined to see the perpetrator brought to justice and punished to the fullest extent of the law.”
The traumatic experience has left Akdere’s psychology in turmoil, causing her to fear for her safety and well-being. She emphasized the need for support and protection, urging authorities to take swift action in apprehending Yerlice. Despite the psychological toll, Akdere remains resolute in seeking closure and justice for the attack she endured.
Meanwhile, in a recent update on the case, it was announced that Yunus Emre Yerlice has been rearrested. The news comes as a glimmer of hope for Akdere, who continues to grapple with the aftermath of the brutal assault. As the investigation unfolds, Akdere hopes that the perpetrator will be held accountable for his actions and brought to justice for the harm he caused.
