Young Man with Mental Disability Attacks Ambulances 73 Times in One Year with Stones
A mentally disabled young man in Yenişehir district, Diyarbakır, has been causing chaos by attacking ambulances with stones. The latest incident occurred on Yaradanakul Street when an ambulance transporting a person injured in a motorcycle accident was targeted by the young man known as RB. Fortunately, the medical team was unharmed, but the side window of the ambulance was broken.
Healthcare workers immediately reported the incident to the police, who have launched an investigation to catch the young man responsible for the attacks. It was revealed that RB has a staggering 197 criminal records and has attacked ambulances with stones a total of 73 times in the past year. This behavior poses a serious threat to the safety of both healthcare workers and patients in the district.
Türk Sağlık-Sen Diyarbakır Provincial Chairman İhsan Yıldırım emphasized the urgency of providing treatment for RB. He stated that the young man needs to be hospitalized as soon as possible to prevent further attacks on ambulances. Yıldırım stressed the importance of taking precautions to ensure the safety of healthcare workers and patients who rely on ambulance services for lifesaving transportation.
