“Zilanli Village in Gubadli District to Get 159 New Houses in First Phase”
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev Attends Ceremony for Zilanli Village Foundation Stone Laying
On May 4, President Ilham Aliyev visited the Gubadli district to attend the ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone for the village of Zilanli. During his visit, he was briefed on the development plans for the village.
Located at the convergence of the Hakari and Bargushad rivers and 20 kilometers from the center of the Gubadli district, the projected area for the village is 180 hectares. The first phase of construction will include 159 houses and will be able to accommodate 772 residents. Once completed, the village is expected to house 2,520 people, consisting of 630 families. In addition to housing, the development plan includes a school building, kindergarten, family health center, administrative building, community club, and sports centers.
During the visit, President Aliyev was shown a video highlighting the development plan for the village before laying the foundation stone for Zilanli. The ceremony marks a significant step for the development of the region as the government of Azerbaijan continues to prioritize the modernization of infrastructure and the provision of social services throughout the country.
