10 injured in Hatay riot police bus overturn
On February 6th, 2024, a riot police bus overturned on the D91 highway between Payas and Dörtyol in Hatay, resulting in 10 injured individuals. The midibus was carrying police teams who were on their way to the Antakya district to commemorate the anniversary of an earthquake. The bus collided with a truck and crashed into the median before overturning.
Initial reports indicate that 10 police officers sustained injuries as a result of the accident. They were promptly transported to Dörtyol State Hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to the incident. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
