10 People Rescued from Extinguished Fire in Bishkek High-Rise

Bishkek, June 24, 2024 – A fire that broke out in a multi-storey building on Fuchik Street has been successfully extinguished, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The fire started on the 12th floor of one of the buildings and was quickly reported at 12:04. Two fire brigades and a ladder truck were immediately dispatched to the scene to handle the situation.

Fortunately, thanks to the prompt response of the rescue teams, 10 individuals were rescued from the building and a total of 50 people were safely evacuated. The fire was completely extinguished by 2:05 p.m., thankfully preventing any further damage or injuries.
