11th Microdistrict in Bishkek Struggles Without Heating

On February 10, 2025, residents in the 11th microdistrict and along Baytik Baatyr Street in Bishkek experienced a temporary disruption in their heating and hot water services. The Bishkek City Hall announced that the services were turned off from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on that day.
The affected areas include specific residential buildings such as numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, 16, 17, and more in the 11th microdistrict, as well as buildings on Baytik Baatyr Street and Chaldovarskaya Street. The shutdown was necessary for the replacement of an old section of the heating network and connection to a newly installed one.
Bishkekteploset, the heating company, urged residents to bear with the inconvenience and thanked them for their patience during the maintenance work. The city authorities are working to restore the services as soon as possible to ensure the comfort of the affected residents.
